Above are the plans I'm working from to create the lift mechanism that sits on top of the hoist.. err, I mean space elevator. Definitely the trickiest part of the construction thus far.
Humble beginnings for this section, but it is the bulk of the work. The rest from here is just detail. With the lift mechanism almost done and the 4th and final grate in the works, all that's left to start and finish are the walls.
